Children and Adults

At Prince of Peace we take seriously our responsibility to foster lifelong Christian discipleship.

Sunday School

Children age 3 through Grade Six are welcome to participate in our Sunday School program. The Learning Hour is offered September through June each week from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

The Cherry Tree Club

The Cherry Tree Club (CTC) is a free pre-school program for children of Mercer County homeless families who cannot access or afford quality pre-school education. Homeless children (ages 2 1/2-5) placed in area motels and transitional living accommodations are transported to the pre-school for a high quality early childhood program, 5 hours/day, 5 days/week.

Woodchuck Hollow Nursery School

Founded in 1985 to provide children in the surrounding communities an opportunity to develop and learn in a supportive and personal setting ~ an independent, non-sectarian, private school offering pre-school classes to children from ages 2½ to 5 years. Parents volunteer in the classroom and are actively involved in running the school. For more information call the school at 609-275-1040, email the director at
woodchuckhollowdirector@yahoo.com or click here to check out the website.

Confirmation Ministry

Children in Grades Seven and Eight are invited to be part of Confirmation ministry. A Confirmation Orientation in September explains the many and various class, service, worship leadership and learning options.

Adult Learning

A variety of adult learning opportunities are offered through out the year. Several small groups meet at various times, and explore various subjects ranging from the bible, to church history, to contemporary issues. You will typically find adults gathered together to learn and care for one another on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Contact the church office for the current list of learning opportunities and small groups.
